Zusammenfassung: This dissertation is a collection of three experimental investigations of individual decision-making behaviour. The first chapter focusses on the endowment effect and investigates whether acquiring bundles of goods in dictinct steps has an impact on the endowment effect. The second chapter is motivated by the replication crisis. It has been found that a substantial number of experimental findings in social sciences have failed to replicate. This chapter addresses this topic by conducting an online replication experiment of five influential behavioural patterns in risky decision-making. The third chapter investigates the normativity of the independence axiom of Expected Utility Theory motivated by a classic experiment reported by Slovic and Tversky (1974). This chapter focusses on designing and implementing an updated version of Slovic and Tversky's (1974) design to be in line with modern standards in experimental economics and extends it to the second version of the Allais Paradox (common ratio effect).
